Laura described the scent as "Quite captivating!!!" Made of lard, canola oil and olive oil. Micas in the colors maniacal pea green, pumpkin head orange/bright yellow raincoat, and pow pow purple.
This soap was inspired by Jojo Blackwell and helpful suggestions from Laura. Jojo was instrumental in chosing the colors, the scent and showed me a fleur-de-lis tattoo she has that shows how the colors worked together, I used the technique of a modified peacock swirl in the hopes of duplicating the fleur-de-lis in the soap. The scent was gonna be magnolia... Jojo found a description of a scent called "Mardi Gras" ...I found it and sent her a sample of Magnolia and Mardi Gras scents...and used the one she chose. Mardi Gras scent is subtle but distinctive...a blend of vanilla, flowers, perfume and fruits... that's a contradictory description but it kinda works! It's like a choreographed riot of scents and colors. The colors are all Mad Micas... the golden yellow is actually a blend of bright yellow raincoat and pumpkinhead orange, the green is maniacal pea, the purple is pow pow purple. A few weeks ago we had a fun conversation about Mardi Gras...which I was not very familiar with and that conversation led to this soap.
